HolCien Student Scientific Journal is an electronic, continuously published journal that serves as the scientific-student platform of the University of Medical Sciences of Holguín, Cuba. Edited by the Provincial Center for Medical Sciences Information of Holguín, its goal is to promote scientific activity among students and professionals in the health sciences with a multidisciplinary focus. The journal employs an external peer-review system, emphasizing the understanding of research subjects and the methodologies applied in contributions.
HolCien aligns with Open Access principles, does not charge fees for processing or publishing articles (APC), and all published articles are licensed under the Creative Commons 4.0 International License (CC BY-NC) since 2022.
